The run down:

  • Direct drive to Lima Sur (Cerro Azul), unless you arrive at night — in that case, you'll be accommodated in Lima and depart for the retreat location the following morning.

The wave

Surf the legendary left hander wave with known local surf coaches who were raised near local breaks and will take you to waves for your surf preference and level. Seven 90 min surf lessons or guiding sessions are included per surfer, and a pro surf photographer will join for one session to capture you in action on those epic Hawaiian waves.

To restore and recover from the surf, two relaxing massages will have you feeling rejuvenated and ready for your next adventure.

We offer this retreat all year round, however keep in mind summer months are end of November - March with pleasing temperatures of ranging between 24°C (75.2°F) and 29°C (84.2°F). In some areas, it can even reach 32°C (89.6°F). It's the perfect time for beach activities and outdoor fun throughout Peru's Pacific coastline.

What’s included in the surf lesson?

Surfboards are included. Wetsuits are not included, so please bring your own.

What kind of wetsuit should I bring?

  • Summer (Dec–Mar): Board shorts or a bikini will do.

  • Winter (May–Sep): A 4/3mm wetsuit is recommended.

  • Shoulder seasons: A 3/2mm wetsuit is usually enough.

Are there sharks?

There has only been one recorded shark attack in Peru, back in 1849. You’re more likely to see dolphins than sharks where you’ll be surfing.
